On 25th January from 11 am to 4 pm the Lycée français de Varsovie (LFV) will turn into a true scientific laboratory! We invite all children, parents, and families, to test their knowledge and explore the mysteries of science by taking part in inventive and educational workshops.
Over 30 scientific workshops and experiments will be provided in French, Polish and English by the students and teachers of the school in all the scientific disciplines taught in secondary and high schools, i.e: chemistry, mathematics, physics, earth and life sciences, technology and informatics.
During the event, you will, among others: learn how to orientate yourself like a bat, become an expert in toothpaste for elephants, run after numbers, and even discover what lies inside the invisible! Adults will be able to check the age of their ears and to unveil the secrets of their smartphone’s screen.
Scientific fields are at the core of the French educational curriculum and contribute to a better understanding of the world and its challenges by students. At the LFV, students are asking questions about their environment, they provide tests, experiments, and learn how to use new tools and methods. During their studies, and thanks to their scientific background, they are able to apply the scientific way of reasoning in all their works, and have a more ethical and responsible approach to today’s social challenges.
This event is free of charge and anybody can participate.
